You might think you're racing the other guys, but aerodynamic drag is the real foe. At racing speeds, over level ground, more than 90 percent of your effort is spent pushing the air out of the way. And, sad to say, about 70 percent of that drag comes from your body. Positioning is critical, and for that the handlebar is key.

Oval Concepts' aero bars position you in the best wind-cheating posture, while our Jetstream fork's revolutionary airflow management technology offers a dramatic reduction in front wheel drag. The fork design stems from a small American team of cycling aerodynamics experts, whose work has been instrumental in keeping America's favorite road racer dressed in yellow for the past five years.

It all boils down to position. Italy's famed framebuilding tradition wasn't founded on custom technology, but custom fit. The Italians understood the value of it early on, and they've been a cycling superpower ever since.

The right fit maximizes power and comfort, and reduces aerodynamic drag. For this, the handlebar, stem and seatpost are critical, especially with the current trend toward compact frames, ultra low-stack headsets and smaller sizing runs.

Some component makers limit you to just a few stem lengths and angles, one or two handlebar bends and very coarse seatpost adjustments, in order to save weight or create a unique look. But that comes at the expense of speed and comfort, which is what really matters.

Our components are made in a full range of sizes and ergonomic shapes, with precision adjustment worthy of a Swiss timepiece, and craftsmanship and materials that are truly aerospace grade. We want you to experience the power of proper fit, and stretch the limits of your own potential.

Whether you're a cross-country racer, a downhiller, or an all-around mountain biker, you know mountain biking requires the perfect balance of power and control.

Power always comes back to the very basic concept of proper fit. Your body needs to be properly positioned, for the most power. Position also provides control. The right fore-and-aft weight distribution provides that critical balance between climbing traction, handling and control. And that stems from saddle position, bar width and height.

Your bike's handlebar, stem and seatpost enable you to achieve the proper position, which makes all the difference when you're out on the trail.
